At HSI, we believe in the power of collaboration, and we are grateful for the many community partners who embody our core values of PRIDE—Perseverance, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy—alongside us. These partnerships provide invaluable opportunities for our students to learn important life lessons and develop the skills that will help them thrive.

Through our partnership with Two Sisters, students learn how to show empathy and determination by collecting clothing and water for those in need. The efforts of our students demonstrate the power of community action, as they recognize the importance of supporting others in times of hardship.

Working with the Houston Public Library, students gain a deeper understanding of perseverance as they explore the world of books and learning. By prioritizing reading, they are empowered to take control of their education and discover the joy of lifelong learning.

In partnership with HPD, our students are taught the importance of integrity in their everyday lives. Officers share valuable lessons about honesty, respect, and responsibility, helping students build character and make ethical decisions both at school and beyond.

Our collaborations with Sam's Club and Walmart offer students a glimpse into the world of business and responsibility. Through these partnerships, students learn about the dedication and commitment it takes to succeed in the workplace, while also being taught the importance of being accountable for their actions.

Beyond these formal partnerships, many of our community allies go above and beyond. Local businesses generously donate their time and resources to support school events like our athletics, STEAM festival, and other special occasions. Additionally, they show empathy toward our school community by offering discounted services and memberships to our staff and families.

We are also proud of the parents who own businesses within our school community. Not only do they promote their businesses, but they show incredible empathy by offering discounts to our teachers and contributing to the overall well-being of our school family. These partnerships highlight the collective effort it takes to nurture our students and strengthen the bonds between our school and the community.

Together, we are raising a generation of students who understand the value of working hard, being kind, and making a difference in the world.
